This is a foundational course absolutely necessary to help every layperson find and fulfill his or her special part in the Great Commission. It can help each student accomplish the following eight things:
- Understand their calling as a layperson and how important it is.
- Know what God expects of them as a layperson.
- Know how to implement those expectations and begin to do so in a balanced manner.
- Be in the middle of God’s will now and in the future.
- Determine their spiritual gifts and know their calling.
- Begin perfecting their gifts and using them for God’s glory.
- Help others learn the same things they will learn in the Laymanship course.
- Earn a credit toward their Basic Laymanship degree.
